RevTech 5 Speed Transmission with Kickstarter in a 4 Speed case 70-E84
The ultimate transmission for the retro look. Get the classic look of a four speed kicker and the performance benefit of a smooth shifting 5-speed. This transmission works in virtually any electric-start, four-speed Big Twin with forward controls (will not work with mid controls). This 5-Speed has a close 2.94:1 ratio 1st gears and stock 1:1 ratio 5th gears. It combines a heavy-duty kicker assembly with the early five-speed end cover and clutch actuation lever, with clutch cable, five-speed shifting mechanism, gears and top cover in a four-speed-sized case. What could be better than a classic Shovelhead that shifts better than the newest showroom models?
Notes: Does not fit Softail frames. Comes with 23-tooth chain sprocket and is designed for chain final drive only. No provision is made for electronic speedometer sensor. Not intended for use with CC fat o-ring chains. This transmission is not designed to be a direct replacement on all models. Clutch arm may require modification depending on model year and application.
